October 1st, 2024 - Winterizations have begun and we are currently very busy. If scheduling a drop off please leave a message when you call and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Currently we are not taking new winterization, storage or dockage customers as we are at maximum capacity. Thank you for your interest in our services.
May 1st, 2024 - OPEN FOR THE SEASON. We look forward to serving all our customers for another season. Please follow the 2 week notice period to have boat prepared for pickup. For repair customers, please call ahead to book an appointment as space is limited until storage boats are cleared from the yard.

About Us:
Sand Lake Marine was founded in June 1969 by Hugh and Etta Glover. We are located on the beautiful and serene Sand Lake approximately one kilometer above Jones Falls, on the Rideau Canal. Founded on the principles of prompt and reliable service, Sand Lake Marine has a 35+ year history of offering quality, experienced service. The family owned and operated business has continued this tradition through the years and has improved and expanded to meet the ongoing changes occurring in the marine industry. The marina is currently owned and operated by Etta's son David. David, a licensed Mercury Marine mechanic, became part owner in 1988 and is currently manager. after the passing of Hugh in the summer of 2000. Daughter's Lisa and Dianne joined the staff full time in 1994 and 2000 respectively. Justin, son of Dianne, joined the staff full time in 2003 and is also a licensed Mercury Marine mechanic. We look forward to providing you with dependable marine service in the future.
